LISTS: MMFF 2024 Winners at the Gabi ng Parangal

The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2024 Gabi ng Parangal was a night of glitz, glamour, and celebration as the brightest stars and most outstanding films of the festival took center stage. Held at Solaire Resort in Parañaque City on Friday, the grand awards night honored cinematic excellence and highlighted the festive spirit of the holiday season.


A Night of Triumph and Recognition

The biggest winner of the night was "Green Bones" by GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs, which bagged the coveted Best Picture award. The critically acclaimed drama also dominated several major categories, including:

  • Best Actor - Dennis Trillo
  • Best Supporting Actor - Ruru Madrid
  • Best Screenplay - Ricky Lee and Angeli Atienza
  • Best Cinematography - Neil Daza
  • Best Child Performer - Sienna Stevens

Following closely, "The Kingdom" secured 2nd Best Picture and made an impact by winning Best Director, Best Production Design, Best Visual Effects, and the prestigious Gatpuno Antonio J. Villegas Cultural Award.


Meanwhile, "My Future You" was named 3rd Best Picture and earned accolades for Best Director, Breakthrough Performance, and Best Editing.


Another standout, "Isang Himala" starring Aicelle Santos, claimed 4th Best Picture while also receiving the Special Jury Prize, Best Supporting Actress, Best Original Theme Song, and Best Musical Score.
